After one semester of designing and building a cabinet to put in the Weatherspoon Art Museum for the gift shop, I am proud to say it is finally completed. When I first got assigned this project I was very curious and nervous at the same time. I was eager to work on this project but I was worried about how it would turn out being that I hadn't worked too much with wood previously. I learned so much from the building process of this cabinet and from working with a group as well. It taught me that not everyone may agree on many things or anything at all but in the end everyone can come together with their ideas and opinions to create such a great piece of art. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to be in the WAM group versus the other two. After seeing the completed cabinet totally finished and in its actual location in the WAM I have such a great sense of accomplishment. I am so proud of my groups work. It is such a crazy feeling to see this cabinet real and built when it all began as just a drawing on a piece of paper.
